Georgetown Child Development Center was established in 1971 to serve the working parents of Scott County.  We accept children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age.

Our experienced, well-trained staff provides a safe, loving environment that meets the needs of the whole child.

Due to our experience and dedication, we consider GCDC to be an
early childhood education center and not just a daycare.

We believe a child's educational journey begins in our infant-toddler classrooms and therefore, all of our classrooms plan developmentally appropriate activities that serve as stepping stones on each child's educational journey.  With each mastered step the child moves along a developmental continuum from classroom to classroom until the child reaches the end of his journey with us and is prepared for the next big step - the transition to Kindergarten.

The overall goal of each teacher at GCDC is to prepare the children for school and personal success by guiding their development academically, socially, and physically.
